Guide Dogs for the Blind

If you can read this, you can't really know what it's like to be blind. Close your eyes for 60 seconds and try to do some normal activity such as walking across the room. Guide Dogs for the Blind provides trained guide dogs to the vision-impaired at no cost whatsoever. The organization deserves all the help it can get. For those folks with really big hearts, consider volunteering to raise a puppy until it begins specialized training at 14 months of age.
